Kiboko Safaris – The way you like them
Founded in 1998, Kiboko Limited has evolved from a young and dynamic tourism company into a trendsetting enterprise renowned for its excellence across Malawi and Zambia. While we no longer offer traditional safaris, our journey has expanded into creating unforgettable experiences through an exclusive collection of luxurious lodges, retreats, and private escapes that reflect the heart and soul of Africa.
Our journey began as pioneers in eco-friendly tourism, offering immersive safari experiences in some of Africa's most iconic destinations. Over the years, we've grown to focus on crafting exceptional stays at properties that celebrate nature, culture, and comfort.
Today, Kiboko Safaris is proud to own and operate five remarkable establishments: Africa House Malawi, Mitengo House, Msandile River Lodge, Riad Farhan, and Kuwona Cottage. Each property reflects our commitment to quality, sustainability, and authentic African charm.
From our humble beginnings in 1998 to becoming custodians of Africa's most distinctive properties, we've redefined what it means to experience authentic African hospitality. Our evolution reflects our commitment to excellence while staying true to our roots.
While our focus has shifted from traditional safaris to exceptional lodging, our essence remains unchanged: creating spaces where Africa's beauty, culture, and warmth envelop every guest.
Each of our properties - from lakeside retreats to Moroccan riads - tells its own story while upholding the Kiboko promise of authenticity, quality, and memorable moments.
